New Hope Center had a wonderful time together by the Sea of Azov

New Hope Center had a wonderful time together by the Sea of Azov. Summer, the sea, and the sand — it was all waiting for us!

More than 30 people were refreshed and revived, thanks to two days of swimming, fishing, and lying in the sun. The best part was our evening, which we spent worshipping our loving God together and talking. Everyone shared about God’s blessings in their lives and we could clearly see the love and mercy of Jesus and how He loves to give us good gifts, just because.

New Hope’s Training Center

New Hope’s Training Center offers courses for orphanage graduates, young people in difficult circumstances, and children brought up in the foster care system.

On March 1st we welcomed our first class of ten students who were selected for training in either our cosmetology or cooking track. Our cosmetology program includes hairdressing and manicures/pedicures. For three months our students learned the skills needed for their new future professions, not only in theory, but in practice.

Our last Drop-in Center meeting before summer break

Our last Drop-in Center meeting before summer break was spent in the park because it was so warm and sunny outside.

The boys split up into two teams and played soccer while the girls played volleyball and frisbee and talked with one another. Afterwards for supper, we made a campfire and roasted hotdogs.
