Christmas with Families in Crisis
This year New Hope Center shared the joy of Jesus birth with crises families. Children and parents who attended DreamKIDZ program during 2016 were able to enjoy family atmosphere of Christmas celebration.
Everybody who came watched Christmas performance prepared by New Hope staff and volunteers and heard a message about Jesus. We played games, enjoyed food and had a great time together. As Christians we are sort of used to having fun time with one another. But for crises families that struggle with relationships between husband and wife, between parents and children, having fun time with other families is really something special and unique. These families are marginalized in society, the kids are rejected by their peers in schools, parents do not have many friends.
New Hope Center became a real big family for these folks who learned to value friendship and are eager to learn how to build a healthy family filled with love. We plan to continue meeting with these families sharing love of Jesus and joy of following Him.
